On the other side of dealing with plants, I had the opportunity this week to sample my home made giardiniera.
It is very, very good. So much more flavor than the store-bought stuff.
It does have a bit of "spaghetti sauce" to the flavor profile though, which I think might be down to the oregano, so I might try using a bit less of that on the next batch. Or I might not, it tastes great either way.
