A few months ago I noticed the yarrow I had planted in a pot was dying back, looking a lot like this one, which also died back.
I cleaned out the dead leaves only to find that there was basically nothing left once I had done so. I figured that maybe the roots had rotted out or something, so I topped up the pot with some fresh soil since it was only about half full and made a mental note to plant something in there later.
Later has now come, and what I planted was nothing actually, that's just the yarrow growing back through an extra 3 inches of soil.
Well then.
